What We Do

Piledrivers & Divers

Pile Drivers lay out, cut, set, splice, drive or extract, wood, metal or concrete piling including sheet piling, I-beams, H-beams and pipe pile. Pile Drivers perform all the welding related to piling, pile caps and supported structures. Pile Drivers build and install falsework and all the concrete forms related to structures and components. They place concrete, grouts and epoxies, bore, bolt, weld and anchor all structures and components.

Pile Driver work includes the care, maintenance and setup of hammers, leads, rigs, motors, pumps and other equipment necessary to do the work of a piledriver.

Commercial divers can be found working in the offshore oil and gas industry, doing underwater bridge inspections, assisting in the construction of bridges and docks, welding anodes on marine structures and performing emergency vessel repairs and salvage..

How We Do it

Study blueprints and diagrams to determine dimensions of structure or form to be constructed

Measure materials or distances, using square, measuring tape, rule or total station to lay out work.

Cut or saw boards, timbers, or plywood to required size, using handsaw, power saw, chainsaw or woodworking machine.

Assemble and fasten material together to construct wood or metal framework of structure, using bolts, nails, or screws and other hardware as required.

Anchor and brace forms and other structures in place, using nails, bolts, anchor rods, steel cables, planks, wedges and other hardware as required.

Mark cutting lines on materials using pencil, soapstone, paint stick and/or scriber.

Erect forms, framework, scaffolds, hoists or chutes, using hand and power tools, plumb rule, and level.

Install temporary supports in structures undergoing construction or repair.

Examine structural timbers and supports to detect decay, and replace timbers as required, using hand and power tools, nuts, and bolts and various hardware.

Bore boltholes in timber, steel, masonry or concrete walls, using power drill.

Driving & Extraction of Piling and Pile Driving Equipment: includes sheeting and sheet piling, cofferdam and caisson work, cribbing, as well as all types of piling.

Arc Welding and Oxy-Acetylene Torchwork.
